Why people pick it

It looks like a normal roof. It’s steel.

Here is what that does for you.

Hail hits it. It holds up.

It has the top hail rating a roof can get.

Made to be your last roof

It’s rated for 50 years. A shingle roof often lasts 15 to 20.

It stays on in a big storm

It’s rated for winds of 140 miles an hour.

Sparks don’t light it

It has the top fire rating a roof can get.

Quiet when it rains

There’s a soft pad under every piece. It’s made to be as quiet as the roof you have now, or quieter.

Nobody can tell it’s metal

From the street it looks like wood shake or clay tile. Most people never guess.

The honest part

What does it cost?

More than shingles. That’s the honest answer.

A steel roof costs more on day one. But you buy it one time. A shingle roof may need to be done two or three times in those same 50 years.

So who is it for? People who plan to stay in their home. If you’ll move in a few years, shingles may be the smarter buy. We’ll tell you that.

Your price depends on the size and shape of your roof. That’s why you get your own number, not a guess from a chart.

Fair questions

Questions people ask.

Is the picture exact?
It’s close. It’s not exact. A computer makes it from your photo, so the real roof can look a little different. Ask to see a real piece of the roof before you decide.
Is a metal roof loud in the rain?
No. There’s a soft pad under every piece. It’s made to be as quiet as the roof you have now, or quieter.
Will my HOA allow it?
Most do, because it doesn’t look like metal. Check your HOA rules first. We can give you the papers they ask for.
What if hail hits it?
It has the top hail rating there is. Very big hail can still leave small dents. If one piece is ever hurt, that one piece can be swapped out.
Will it lower my insurance bill?
It might. Many insurance companies charge less for a home whose roof has the top hail rating. Agents call it “Class 4”. Call your agent and ask before you buy. Ask how they treat dents that don’t leak, too.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. The roof comes with a limited warranty, in writing. Ask us for a copy, and read it before you buy.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. We have payment plans. Ask when we call, and we’ll show you the choices.
I’m building a new home. Can I use this?
Yes. Tap “Try a sample house”, pick the one closest to yours, and tick “I’m building a new home”.
Do I have to talk to a salesman?
You get one call from us. We answer your questions and give you your price. What happens after that is up to you.
